What times and days can I make a party booking for?

  • Please check each of our packages on the website for available booking times.

Am I able to come and see the venue?

  • We kindly ask that you visit our Instagram and Facebook pages, where we’ve uploaded numerous photos and videos of the space (including Instagram highlights).
    Due to the high-paced nature of our weekend events, we’re unable to show the venue on weekends. The venue is closed and packed up during the week.

What is the best age group for your entertainment, and is it suitable for both girls and boys?

  • Our party packages are perfect for children aged 1-15 years.
    We often have a mix of boys and girls at our parties, and over the years, we’ve created a well-rounded party plan that ensures every guest has a fun and exciting experience.

Can adults stay and watch the entertainment in the party room?

  • We welcome adult guests to watch the entertainment, provided the party room isn’t overcrowded, and the background noise remains minimal to avoid disturbing the children’s entertainment.
    We also have a lovely designated space in the front dining area where adults can relax, unwind, and catch up with friends and family.

What time should we arrive?

  • Please arrive 5-15 minutes before your party time. We ask that you don’t arrive earlier, as we will be cleaning and setting up the space after the previous party. If you’ve made prior arrangements with Catherine for an early setup, that’s fine.

What’s included at your venue?

  • Children can expect an imaginative experience with magical storytelling, themed games, potion making, treasure hunts, face painting, a puppet show, music, bubbles, and more!

What is the quality of your food and ingredients? Where do children eat?

  • We offer a variety of flavourful and healthy party food menus for both children and adults, all freshly prepared in our commercial kitchen by Chef Guillaume.
    We cater to special dietary needs and use only the best ingredients.
    Children’s meals are served in the party room, during face painting, and before the birthday cake, seated at a beautiful children’s table with luxury Tiffany chairs.

Can I bring my own food for the adults and/or children?

  • As a registered food business, we don’t allow outside food or drinks. We provide all food and drinks, ensuring all children are catered for.
    However, feel free to bring take-home treats for the cake table.

Do we need to order food for children and adults?

  • You’re not required to order food for adult guests, but all children attending must be catered for.

What is your experience working with children?

  • Catherine, the managing director of Finding Fairyland and Fairy and the Frog, has successfully operated this business since 2000 across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and the Gold Coast.
    She has personally organized thousands of children’s events, including for celebrity families and corporate clients, and has performed in over 7000 events.
    Catherine also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Macquarie University.

Is parking and finding your venue easy?

  • Our venue is located in a prominent position on Mortlake St, Concord, with plenty of free street parking available in all directions.
    You won’t miss our colorful signage. Please refer to the contact page for a map.

Is there a bathroom?

  • Yes, there is a bathroom at the back of the party room for both children and adults.

How do I check availability and make a booking?

  • Please fill out our Quote and Availability Form, and we’ll send you a personalized quote with availability details.

How do I pay, and when is payment due?

  • A $400 deposit is required upon booking, with the balance due by the Sunday before your party.
    We accept payments via bank transfer; unfortunately, we don’t accept card payments.

Can I bring my own birthday cake, lolly bags, balloons, or props for the cake table?

  • Yes! You can bring your own cake, party bags, and any props for the cake table. We’ll have the cake table beautifully decorated, so there’s no need to bring anything other than the cake and party bags.

How do I receive the party invitations?

  • After completing the booking form on our website, we’ll send you confirmation details, including your invoice and a party invitation for you to print and distribute.

Can I take photos or film the party entertainment?

  • Video recording of the party room during entertainment is not allowed (except during dancing and pass the parcel), but feel free to take photos throughout the venue. Photos are allowed anywhere in the venue.

Can the balloon arch colors be changed for our party?

  • We create a new balloon arch every three weeks, using premium balloons that last for months. The arch typically follows a rainbow design to suit all themes and blend with our colorful venue. Unfortunately, we can’t customize the balloon arch for individual parties.
